Constitutional objectives
The organisation's purposes are to advance community development in Scotland through: 4.1 promoting interest in and understanding of the Scottish Community Land Ownership movement throughout the world. 4.2 raising awareness of the benefits and successes brought about by the land being owned and managed by the communities that live and work on it. 4.3 highlighting the achievements of Community Land Ownership in creating vibrant, confident and successful communities, often in the most peripheral parts of Scotland which hitherto suffered emigration and decline. and 4.4 offering opportunities to support this movement by raising funds which will assist further community land buyouts and thereby help to sustain the culture, heritage and economic viability of these places.
