4 The organisation is established for charitable purposes only, and in particular, the objects are: To advance citizenship and community development by the following activities - producing a free community newspaper by volunteers in the community for the community, informing readers of relevant local issues, facilities, services, voluntary organisations, and encouraging participation in community affairs and events, and promoting a sense of community feeling and responsibility for the welfare of the community and its environs. Taking over the assets (including the name 'Ben Ledi View Community Newspaper', and the layout) and liabilities of the existing Callander Community Newspaper.
