What the charity exists to do
DCSG run a community park in Douglas, Dundee and in partnership with the local centre provide activities and opportunities for learning and a safe space for locals to use, play and exercise.

Constitutional objectives
The organisation is established for charitable purposes only, and in particular, the objects are: - To advance environmental protection or improvement - To advance public participation in sport - To advance community development by the following means:- 4.1 identifying opportunities for improvement and development of green and open spaces 4.2 acquiring, and/or manage the development of, green and open spaces 4.3 promoting access to and responsible use /development of green and open spaces 4.4 providing opportunities to learn about the environment and its conservation through the provision of wildlife-friendly spaces 4.5 providing opportunities to gain skills in gardening and the production of healthy food by establishing community garden(s) 4.6 promoting mental and physical well-being by providing space to allow residents to have contact with nature in green space near their homes 4.7 with the support of sports development workers and local sports clubs, encouraging participation in outdoor sport and activities by all ages by providing 'come and try' opportunities 4.8 promoting participation and community spirit by providing and maintaining venues for open-air community events and celebrations, and by organising programmes of such events 4.9 offering opportunities for local people to volunteer in working towards development of green and open space for the benefit of the community. 4.10 Promoting the regeneration of the East End Ward by working with local agencies to improve the physical environment in the area.
