02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Founded in 2010, the UKESF is the only STEM organisation in the UK solely focused on Electronics and semiconductors. We are a multi award winning charity, and our purpose is to provide opportunities to young people and to encourage them to pursue study and careers in the industry.

The company's objects are:- To advance education in the field of electronics design and manufacture, and in particular: (1) through engagement of industry & academia to attract UK students to study degree courses of relevance to the electronics industry (2) through the engagement of industrial sponsorships for under-graduates.
