02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The charity is set up to advance the education of learners at Woodlands School, Currie by providing and assisting in the prvision of facilities (not required to be provided by the local education authority) for education at the school. Woodlands School supports children and young people with enduring and profound needs. The primary function recently has been to increase fundraising activity to fund new playground equipment in the school grounds. Fundraising activity has in recent times been based upon the development of relationships with grant funders and charities together with our own fundraising efforts.
