What the charity exists to do

The purposes of Thenue Communities are: 1. To provide recreational facilities and to organise recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of the life of persons within the Calton and Netherholm areas of Glasgow particularly through the development and operation of a community hall(s). 2. To promote the advancement of citizenship and community development particularly through the promotion of civic responsibility. and 3. The advancement of education through the promotion of training and education

The Objects are:- 5.1 to provide recreational facilities and to organise recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of the life for persons within the communities and geographical area in which the Parent Association operates, particularly through the development and operation of community halls. 5.2 to promote the advancement of citizenship and community development particularly through the promotion of civic responsibility. and 5.3 the advancement of education through the promotion of training and education.
