Constitutional objectives
To advance the Christian religion by teaching and training in communication skills both written and spoken and by knowledge of other religions with a view to promoting religious harmony and building moral responsibility towards others in society. To this end steps will be taken to promote and maintain the highest Christian standards of practice and integrity of all members on courses and all volunteers taking part in courses. To relieve poverty by assisting ex-offenders to find suitable employment through training and teaching life skills or to access colleges and further education. To assist ex-offenders to rebuild their lives in a safe and beneficial environment and to prevent re-offending. To bridge the gap between the probability of having become institutionalised during their time in prison and to encourage them to live their lives as responsible citizens in the community and within a local Church with a view to making a meaningful contribution to their community, enabling them to live as disciples of Jesus Christ. To this end steps will be taken to advance spiritual, emotional and physical health by preventing ill health and having a healthy diet and life style.
