02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
To provide a safe, caring environment for children between the ages of 8-18 years. To organise social, recreational and performing arts events for members. To improve the conditions of life for its member. and To promote the advancement of civic responsibility and community development. The group’s main activities centre on two productions each year. Shows were scripted, rehearsed, costumed and delivered by the members and committee with tickets being sold within the local community including to other community groups.
