What the charity exists to do

To advance religion, and in particular the understanding and practice of the Islamic faith for the benefit of the Muslim community and thewider public. To advance education, particularly in connection with the Islamic faith. To promote religious and racial harmony, particularlythrough striving to nurture harmony between Muslims and non-Muslims in order to achieve mutual understanding. and To relieve those inneed by reason of age, ill -health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage through providing welfare services (and on the basisthat any funds received for a particular and specific cause shall only be used in furtherance of that cause). To advance citizenship andcommunity development. To provide recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities with the object of improving theconditions of life of the Muslim community and the wider public.
