What the charity exists to do

The charity objectives re to benefit the community of Findhorn Village with the purpose of advancing environmental protection or improvements, including preservation, sustainable development and conservation of the natural environment, the maintenance, improvement or provision of environmental amenities for the community and/or the preservation of buildings or sites of architectural, historic or other importance to the community following the principles of sustainable development. The charity is highly dependent on the support of volunteers who provided 14,000 hours unpaid service during the year to 31 March 2025

The Company has been formed to benefit the community of Findhom Village as defined by all the postcode units IV36 3YD, IV36 3YE, IV36 3YF, IV36 3YG, IV363YH, IV36 3YJ, IV36 3YL, IV36 3YN, IV363YP, IV36 3YQ, IV36 3YR, IV36 3YS, IV363YT, IV36 3YU,IV36 3YW, IV36 3YX, IV363YV, IV36 3YZ, IV36 3WF,IV36 3GU, IV363WN, IV36 3QJ ('the Community'), with the Purposes listed in the sub-clauses hereto ('the Purposes'), to be exercised following the principles of sustainable development (where sustainable development means development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs), namely: To advance environmental protection or improvement including preservation, sustainable development and conservation of the natural environment, the maintenance, improvement or provision of environmental amenities for the Community and/or the preservation of buildings or sites of architectural, historic or other importance to the Community
