02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The charity is a chamber choir. We have a membership of a maximum of 20, and we sing a wide variety of music from all eras. We meet once a week for rehearsal, and generally perform 3 concerts a year. These comprise a carol concert at Christmas time, a more serious presentation in March, and we take part in the West End Festival in June when we tend to perform a lighter programme. In addition we occasionally add extra performances away from our usual venue of Kelvinside Hillhead church in order to bring our music to a wider public. We also like to meet our our audiences and so provide refreshments after our main concerts.
