Constitutional objectives

f To advancetheeducation of the public in the subject of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies ii. To advance the Islamic faith and reJigion for the benefit of the public. iii: To advance the Islamic religion in Paisley for the benetit of the public through the holding of prayer meetings, lectures, public celebration ofreligious festivals, producing and distributing literature on lslam to enlighten others about the Islamic religion. . vii To develop the capacity and skills of the members of the socially and economically disadvantaged community of Paisley in such a way that they arc better able to identify, and heJp meet, their needs and to participate more fully in society. . To promote for the benefit of the public the conservatjon protection and improvement of the physicaland natural env.ronment by promoting biological diversity IX. To advance the education of the public in the conservation, protection and improvement of the physicaJ and natural environment. xii. To promote human rights as set out in the lJniversal Declaration of Human Rights and subsequent United Nations conventions. and declarations. xiii.
