02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
A board of parent volunteers help support the nursery manager and staff. We do this in our own time as we see the great value in the staff members and their wonderful support of our children. The nursery is small in numbers which benefits the children in high quality interactions and opportunities with both staff and peers. We carry out various fundraising events throughout the year and there are various links and activities within the community which everyone benefits from (for example, care home visits and visiting the local allotment) We all support one another to ensure that our children are able to have a safe and supportive environment to learn and thrive in.
