02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Formed to deliver benefits to the community geographically defined in Article 2 of Section B of the Articles of Association. its purposes are to: manage the Village Hall, the Muir Hub and any other facilities provide or assist in providing recreational facilities or organising recreational activities for the community and public at large advance community development contribute to the prevention or relief of poverty and the advancement of health and education advance environmental protection or improvement. MDT acts on its own account and supports the Gala Group, Muir Matters newsletter, and MOOFood Working Group while partnering loal and public agencies.
