The organisation is established for charitable purposes only, and in particular, the objects are advance education and the arts, culture and heritage of the Scottish Borders for general public benefit by: 4.1 Promoting the works of the Borders poet Will H Ogilvie. 4.2 Maintaining the Will H Ogilvie Memorial Cairn and Seat on 'the hill road to Roberton' and any subsequent memorials. 4.3 Ensuring the safe-keeping of any artefacts connected to the poet, in the care of the Trust
