02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We are set up to provide sports and fitness facilities to the local community through our gym and martial arts club, with a particular emphasis on young people. These facilities allow members of the local community to improve their health and body composition, achieve new skills, and improve their overall sense of wellbeing and mental health through participating in group activities.

(a) To provide for the Advancement of Education through the development of members? (particularly young peoples?) potential, physically, mentally and spiritually. (b) To provide group activities and engagement to promote the Advancement of Citizenship and Community Development (c) To effectively engage and nurture vulnerable children, young people and families who are in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage regardless of disability, ethnicity, religion/faith, culture, gender, sexual orientation or social class. (d) To organise provision of recreational facilities in order to provide a safe environment and to promote the acceptance of all people regardless of disability, ethnicity, religion/faith, culture, gender, sexual orientation or social class.
