02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We offer a free, confidential, and therapeutic support service to children and young people up to the age of 18 throughout Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. We aim to help children and young people cope with loss and bereavement in a healthy and positive way. Every one of us is different and it is known that children and young people process grief differently to adults. By recognising this, we offer a service that is holistic, flexible, and person-centred. We travel to meet the child/young person in a setting where they feel comfortable, and support continues for as long as is required.

Constitutional objectives
The organisation is established for charitable purposes only, and in particular, the objects are: 4.1 To relieve the needs of children and young people affected by bereavement and in furtherance of this by. 4.2 The provision of supportive interventions to such children and young people. and 4.3 Working in partnership with other bodies to achieve the purposes.
