Constitutional objectives

The advancement of citizenship or development of community, in particular: a. Making relationships with young people who have few positive relationships and avenues for support and help them realise their full potential. b. Identifying the needs and interests of young people and develop appropriate strategies for action, either by New Team or with other agencies. c. Working with young people towards their personal, social, and spiritual development and to encourage young people to take more more control over their lives, in line with youth work principles. d. Helping bridge gaps in understanding between the local community and young people. e. Signposting adults to organisations and services in a way that aids their empowerment as parents, carers and members of a supportive community for young people. f. Undertaking research into new ways of working with marginalised young people and their communities. g. Developing new expressions of church, with those young people and community members who are interested. h. Supporting projects with similar objectives both locally and globally.
