What the charity exists to do

The charity is set up to preserve and publicize the heritage of the building and to maintain and improve the fabric of the building. To do this we organize a wide range of activities aimed at addressing rural isolation and specific issues relating to the old and young in our community. We fundraise through hosting many different activities e.g. concerts, storytelling events, drama productions, coffee & cake events, Christmas Tree Festival, Halloween festival to name but a few. We also receive donations from visitors to the kirk and by offering guided tours and we receive financial support from grants obtained from local wind farms, NLHF, HES and other local businesses.
