What the charity exists to do
Sympathetic restoration of the 1903 Anstruther Lifeboat using local expertise to save a historic vessel. It will form part of the maritime history of the East Neuk of Fife.

Constitutional objectives
The Objectives for which The Group is established are to:- 1. conserve, preserve and protect the James and Mary Walker Lifeboat through sympathetic restoration while retaining a piece of local history and culture 2. provide, in the interests of social welfare, access to a historic tourist attraction. 3. encourage and develop local participation in the decision making process and promotion of a community initiative throughout the East Neuk of Fife.
