02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The charity continues to provide a volunteer driver service for disadvantaged people in East Renfrewshire to be able to attend hospital and medical appointments using volunteer drivers own vehicles as well as a VW caddy vehicle with a rear ramp and a wheelchair accessible people carrier (8 passengers) with rear tail gate. The project also has a 13-seater minibus with rear tailgate. The three vehicles are also used to provide an afternoon tea service and are available to hire for individuals, Voluntary Groups as well as community groups for a low cost. The charity runs these services and manages a group of volunteers to provide this.
