Employed a Community Development Officer Opened a warm space use social media to update and consult community. Host Lovenewmilns website Hosted Valley Walkfest Progress the 2022-27 Community Action Plan Working with EAC to benefit our town. Taking part in Remembrance Day commemorations. Create a Christmas light display Held Christmas Fayre, Santa’s Grotto and Lights Switch On event. Held Hogmanay Ceilidh Donated selection boxes and Easter Eggs to local school Ran a Heritage Group Created Heritage App Designing and planning 2 murals Heritage initiative for painting / flag restoration and signage Town Centre Masterplan Restoration of the Town House Thermal Imaging householder surveys Feasibility study into business park Ran a Community Garden Group Plant summer bedding in towns red planters Responsibility of 3 Defibs. Running Love Newmilns Lotto, including grants to community groups Run Hub as a community venue Became member of SCVO & DTAS
