02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
ENCAP was set up for the benefit of resident of the East Neuk. Our main current project is the development and implementation of a cycle path around the East Neuk of Fife. We do this by working with communities, Fife Council and Sustrans / WalkWheelCycle.

3.1.1 advancing citizenship and community development in and for the Area through projects and policies relating to social inclusion, civic responsibility and regeneration and development. and 3.1.2 advancing environmental protection and/or improvement to include preservation and conservation of the quality of the natural environment in particular the built environment. the promotion of sustainable development. the maintenance, improvement or provision of environmental amenities for the community. and/ or the preservation of buildings or sites of architectural, historic or other importance to the Area.
