What the charity exists to do
The Charitable Purposes of the Company ('the Charitable Purposes') are: the advancement of education the advancement of citizenship or community development the advancement of environmental protection or improvement the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science We manage these purposes by being a coalition of experts driving strategic innovation for a prosperous and sustainable UK seafood industry. FIS creates a pre-competitive environment for collaboration, bringing seafood experts, government and scientists together to champion innovation in the UK seafood industry. FIS connects the seafood supply chain around shared opportunities for innovation to add value to UK businesses and communities. Our projects have a clear pathway to impact and are designed by experts operating on a pre-competitive and non-profit basis.
