02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The Club provides introductory and development opportunities for anyone interested in paddle sports (mainly kayak, but also canoe and paddleboard). We do this by running weekly taster and training sessions: pool sessions in winter and river sessions in summer. Participants can improve their competence on weekend river trips run every few weeks. The Club provides all necessary equipment (but not clothing) for these activities.

4 The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 The advancement of public participation in the sport of Canoeing, and in furtherance of this by. 4.2 Making available provision in the City of Aberdeen and elsewhere facilities of any kind for participation in the sport of Canoeing. 4.3 Providing and making available training in the sport of Canoeing. 4.4 Working in partnership with other bodies to advance the purposes.
