02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Promote active participation in the sport of boxing, whether to improve fitness, as a means to improving well-being and competing at organised events. We do this by making access to boxing as easy and affordable to as many people as possible, ensuring there are as few barriers to do this.

Constitutional objectives
The Club is established to pursue the following objectives: 2.1.1 encourage the promotion and provide facilities for the practice of the sport of boxing (the 'Sport') in Scotland. 2.1.2 ensure the organisation, management and development of the Sport for all members of the Club. 2.1.3 promote and maintaining the highest standards of technical competence and safety in the Sport. 2.1.4 uphold the rules of the Sport. 2.1.5 provide equal opportunities for successful participation by all sections of the community. and 2.1.6 undertake other activities incidental or conducive to the furtherance of these objectives.
