Constitutional objectives

4.1 To advance the education of disadvantaged children and their families. In order to achieve this, the organisation aims - 4.1.1 To establish and run free training activities, events and programmes operating within Scotland delivering education and life skills for families and children who are experiencing disadvantage through impaired health, residing within a disadvantaged community and literacy/numeracy needs. 4.1.2 To promote the physical and mental development of children. To encourage their parent/family/guardian to support and encourage their development so as to enable them to grow to full maturity and achieve their full potential as individuals and members of society and so that their conditions of life may be improved. 4.1.3 To promote the To provide free training, education and advice for families to upskill their education and learning so that new skills can be confidently be passed on to their children. 4.1.4 To establish training centres and to engage families and children within those centres with a view to developing and improving families and their children?s ability to learn, be educated, develop life and social skills and enable them to progress positively through formal education and be positive responsible citizens. 4.1.5 To advance the education of the public about the needs of the families/guardians and children, the causes of learning difficulties and the means whereby such difficulties may be overcome. 4.1.6 To relieve the needs of the children/families/guardians who are in need of educational support and/or at disadvantage socially and economically.
