02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Shazam Theater Company is a charity that runs a range of fun and friendly drama workshops and theater groups for young people aged 8-30. Our professional and dedicated tutors use drama techniques to develop skills in performance,but also to build confidence,nurture creativity and forge friendships. We offer participants a range of unique opportunities that include performances at Edinburgh National Fringe,National Theater'Connections' and large-scale productions in Aberdeen.

Constitutional objectives
The organisation?s purposes are to provide participation in the arts activity of drama for youth development to benefit the wider community by: 1. Providing quality theatre productions in the city. 2. Offering affordable arts to a wide range of young people in the area. 3. Educating young people in life skills through the arts.
