02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
we are se up to provide free tuition within the schools of Dumfries and Galloway, of piping and drumming. we achieve this by having self employed tutors going into our schools, putting on monthly workshops, and providing the relevant equipment free of charge for all our young people.

4 The organisation is established for charitable purposes only, and in particular, the objects are: 4.1 The promotion, encouragement and advancement of the use of the pipes and drums. 4.2 To enhance the education and understanding of individuals, from within Scotland and elsewhere, by providing workshops and classes in the study of the pipes and drums.
