The Organisation's Purposes are: 4.1 The prevention or relief of poverty by helping the unemployed find work, and providing training and re-training opportunities, 4.2 To advance the education of, provide training for and otherwise assist those in need in Scotland to enable them to obtain paid employment. 4.3. To Advance Environmental Improvement's across Scotland by Practical Outdoor Management of Woodland, Green-Belt Land, Parks and Public Spaces, 4.4 To Advance Environmental Protection across Scotland by Working in the Community to address key Environmental Issues, Campaigning and engaging in Community Planning and Development Discussions, 4.5 To Advance the Protection, Improvement and Publicity of Heritage in Scotland by Campaigning, Documenting and taking Ownership of Heritage (where possible) to protect and Improve it, 4.6 The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are intended for across Scotland.
