02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Our charity trains community volunteer first responders and responds to emergency 999 calls that come via the Scottish Ambulance Service. We also support and manage the community defibrillators across the area of Peeblesshire. We train on a weekly basis and deliver local CPR training to local groups and schools.

Constitutional objectives
The purpose of our organisation is to respond to life threatening emergency calls including but not exclusively, cardiac arrest, medical collapse and other situations as determined by the Scottish Ambulance Service or other NHS Ambulance Service provider to those in need within the agreed geographical area in Peeblesshire that the organisation serves.
