Constitutional objectives
To relieve the needs and to promote the benefit of all people who are deaf or hard of hearing within the area defined in clause 2 above, by associating the statutory and local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants. To advance educational opportunities for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. To provide, or assist in the provision of, facilities for recreational or other leisure-time occupation in the interests of social welfare, with the aim of improving the condition of life for people who are deaf or hard of hearing.
