02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We provide a charity workshop and meeting place for members , providing a charity workshop for members to work on community projects for the whole of East Dunbartonshire . To aid our members mental and physical wellbeing and in doing so help local community groups , schools , nurseries , churches , local residents etc with their community led projects .

Constitutional objectives
The organisation's purposes are to advance the health and well being, social needs and community involvement of adult men of all ages and backgrounds living in East Dunbartonshire. It will achieve these purposes by: Creating, developing and maintaining a facility, namely a Men's Shed. Offering opportunities for men in the East Dunbartonshire area to meet and undertake creative, physical, purposeful and recreational activities of their choice Reducing isolation of men in the area thus contributing to their physical and mental wellbeing. Developing the capacity of men in East Dunbartonshire to share their skills and knowledge with others in the community Supporting & encouraging the development of Men's Sheds across East Dunbartonshire.
