Constitutional objectives
The advancement of education, including health education, through the organisation of classes, training, presentations and awareness raising. The advancement of citizenship by encouraging Muslim women to have a better understanding of Scottish law, processes and culture in order that they can participate fully in the civic life of their community. The provision of recreational facilities and the organisation of recreational activities that will improve the conditions of life of Muslim Women and their families. The advancement of arts, heritage and culture and the promotion of religious and racial harmony through the organisation of religious and cultural festivals and multi-faith events that promote religious tolerance and understanding. The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage through the provision of advice, advocacy, befriending, counselling and support services.
