What the charity exists to do
Glasgow Kurdish Community Association was established by the initiative of some dedicated local Muslims in constitutional form as Trust (founding document is a deed of trust) (other than educational endowment) registered geographical Spread: UK and overseas. Registered purposes are: 1. The prevention or relief of poverty. 2. The advancement of education. 3. The advancement of religion, 4. The advancement of citizenship or community development.

The Charity?s objects are: 1. The promotion of racial harmony for the public benefit by: (a) promoting knowledge and mutual understanding between different racial groups. (b) advancing education and raising awareness about different racial groups to promote good relations between persons of different racial groups. (c) working towards the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of race. 2. To further or benefit the public without distinction of sex, race or of political, religious or other opinions by associating together the public and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation leisure time occupation with the objective of improving the conditions of life of the public.
