02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

This charity aims to provide grants to support children and young people. The trust focus is on making life easier for children and families whose children need it most, with a particular interest in supporting:- *Adoption & Fostering support for parents and children *Critical & Terminal illness in children *The advancement of business education for children Awards, which may be made both to individuals and charitable organisations, will be made only in support of a purpose which is charitable and which is a purpose of the Trust. Constitutional objectives

The purposes of the Trust are, for the benefit of the public in Scotland and elsewhere, for payment or application of the whole free income and if the Trustees think fit having regard to the specific nature of any project or proposal they have been asked to support, the capital of the Trust Fund from time to time. in the Trustees' charge to help children and young people including but not limited to adopted, fostered and looked-after children, and in furtherance of that principal object:- 1. the prevention or relief of poverty. 2. the advancement of education. 3. the advancement of health. 4. the advancement of community development. 5. the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. and 6. the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.
