02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Unity for Integration Project (UFIP) brings people from different cultures and backgrounds together to strengthen community integration, understanding and belonging. We help people build confidence, develop practical skills, improve their wellbeing and take part in community life. We do this through workshops, training, cultural events, community activities and volunteering opportunities. At Unity Hub in Glasgow, people can meet, learn, access support and share experiences in a welcoming space. We work with local residents and partner organisations to reduce isolation, address barriers to participation and build stronger connections between communities.

Constitutional objectives
The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 To Promote Community integration and harmony through organisation of events that bring people in the community together, irrespective of race, ethnicity, age, gender, religion etc 4.2 Provide a centre accessible to everyone in the community to socialize, learn new skills and access the internet.
