What the charity exists to do

Tay Rowing Club is a club that supports the sport of rowing and sculling. It provides boats for members to use and offers learn to row courses, social events and generally facilitates the sport of rowing on the River Tay under the banner of Scottish Rowing. Club members can also compete in events run by other Rowing Clubs.

Constitutional objectives

The organisations purpose is: To advance public participation in the sport of rowing and sculling by providing opportunities for the people of Tayside and beyond to experience rowing and sculling and to reach their potential in the sport regardless of their level of skill or physical ability. In furtherance of this purpose the organisation shall: To provide the organisation, management and development of the Tay Rowing Club for all members of the organisation To provide training facilities for its members To promote and maintain the highest standards of technical competence and safety in the sport To uphold the rules of the sport To provide equal opportunities for successful participation by all sections of the community, particularly through local schools. To promote the sport of rowing and sculling To support the objectives of Scottish rowing
