Being an active member of the local community and the broader sailing community in Scotland. The provision of premises and other facilities for the use of members and groups in the local community.

The purposes of the organisation are: i. The advancement of public participation in sport, principally in sailing and other watersports. This shall be accomplished by : making membership accessible to all ages and abilities the provision of relevant training the provision of craft to enable participation by as wide a group as possible being an active member of the local community and the broader sailing community in Scotland The provision of premises and other facilities for the use of members and groups in the local community ii. To provide rescue services for the saving of lives at sea
