What the charity exists to do
Galloway Thistle charity was set up to advance the participation in the sport of football : * We promote and encourage the playing of youth football in the area for both boys & girls * We develop coaching skills by regular attendance on Scottish Football Association Coaching Courses * We develop and improve football skills by coaching and training of youths. * We promote sportsmanship, develop self-discipline and physical fitness among playing members & coaches

Constitutional objectives
The advancement of public participation in the sport of football. In furtherance of this purpose, the organisation will: To promote and encourage the playing of youth football in the area for both boys and girls. To promote sportsmanship, develop self-discipline and physical fitness among playing members and coaches.
