The charity is set up support the village community with a space for sports/events. providing recreational facilities (memorial hall), advance community development to benefit residents, and advance environmental protection near the marina.

Constitutional objectives
The organisation’s purposes are: 4.1 To advance the environmental protection and improvement of land at the riverside in Crossmichael adjacent to the marina. 4.2 To advance community development where appropriate within Crossmichael and the surrounding area (that is, the area represented by Crossmichael and District Community Council) for the benefit of the residents of this area. 4.3 The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended.
