What the charity exists to do
The Wild Olive Tree is a cafe which operates from St George's Tron Church of Scotland, in the city centre of Glasgow, with the aim to help provide relief to individuals struggling financially and experiencing homelessness. The Wild Olive Tree does this by providing workplace employability training, by providing free meals to those in need, and by supporting our charitable partners, Glasgow City Mission and Bethany Christian Trust, through available profits from The Wild Olive Tree's charitable activities.

Constitutional objectives
4.1 To relieve poverty and to give relief to those in need by reason of financial disadvantage and homelessness by operating a Café at St George’s Tron Church of Scotland which provides workplace employability placements to clients of Glasgow City Mission or such other agencies as are or may be deemed appropriate. 4.2 To give relief to those in need by reason of financial disadvantage and homelessness, and to relieve poverty by donating all profits from the Café to Glasgow City Mission and Bethany Christian Trust or to such other agencies having the same or similar objectives, to further their work in Glasgow. 4.3 To advance religion by promoting, contributing to and supporting the charitable objectives of St George’s Tron Church of Scotland (registered charity in Scotland SC004931) as a place of Christian worship, fellowship, instruction, mission and service.
