Constitutional objectives
3.1.1 to advance education by organising courses in surf coaching, judging and officiating, water safety and lifesaving. 3.1.2 to help save lives by organising water safety and lifesaving courses and educating members on these topics through the Company's website, social media and newsletters. 3.1.3 to support the provision of recreational facilities or the organisation of recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended by offering support where possible to the planning of facilities which encourage surfing participation and by organising competitions and events which include surfing activities. 3.1.4 to advance public participation in sport by obtaining surfing equipment for the Company's affiliated surf clubs making surfing more accessible and by promoting the Sport in Scotland through the Company's competitions, events, international team representation, website and social media. 3.1.5 to advance environmental protection or improvement by promoting beach cleans, raising awareness among Scottish surfers and liaising with appropriate bodies to gain adequate protection of beaches and other places of marine recreational interest. and 3.1.6 to carry out any other business which may be advantageously carried on in connection with this article 3.1.
