What the charity exists to do
The charity was established to strengthen and support the Cowie community by advancing citizenship, promoting community development, and improving quality of life for local residents. Its core purpose is to provide accessible recreational facilities and activities that enhance wellbeing for everyone in Cowie and the wider public. Guided by a vision of ensuring equal access to services and community based opportunities, the organisation focuses on creating a vibrant and welcoming village centre, fostering a safe and healthy environment, expanding opportunities for all age groups, improving communication across local initiatives, and proactively identifying and responding to community needs. From its inception, the charity has played a key role in consulting with residents, particularly children and young people, to understand local issues and help shape meaningful, community led solutions designed to enhance daily life and increase participation in positive activities.
