What the charity exists to do

Community development (including urban regeneration and the promotion of civic responsibility, volunteering, and the voluntary sector). This is focused as follows: 4.1 To cohesively improve social, cultural and environmental aspects of the Isle of Bute.4.2 To raise, allocate and disburse funds for the overall benefit of the island and its communities.4.3 To encourage involvement of island residents in both local and regional community development projects.4.4 To facilitate the sharing of knowledge and skills between individuals, community organisations and businesses.4.5 To promote opportunities for island residents to become active citizens through their participation in community-benefiting activities
