02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
NCDG provide services and activities within the local community, NCDG have continued to work alongside Netherthird Community Action Training, We have continued to sell hanging baskets, planters and bedding plants. We also have continued to run the Netherthird Community Garden summer scheme, with an average of 200 children per day attending the summer scheme, all children are given a free lunch and there is no cost to taking part in the summer scheme. We have also continued to work with Netherthird Primary School to provide free nature lessons, continue our growing projects and using our gardens as an outdoor classroom.

Constitutional objectives
The company's objects are:- I.To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Netherthird and its environs without distinction of sex, sexuality, political, religious or other opinions by associating the local statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants, to provide facilities, or assist in the provision of facilities, in the interest of social welfare for recreation and other leisure-time occupation so that their conditions of life may be improved. II.To promote the benefit and welfare of such people by the acquisition of land, through long-term lease, gift, or outright purchase, for the provision and maintenance of a community garden or gardens, and similar facilities so that their conditions may be improved.
