Constitutional objectives

To protect and preserve the environment for the public benefit by: the promotion of waste reduction, re-use, reclamation, recycling, use of recycled products and the use of surplus. advancing the education of the public about all aspects of waste generation, waste management and waste recycling. To prevent or relieve poverty by providing items and services to individuals in need and/or charities, or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty. To promote, for the benefit of the public, the efficiency of the police, the administration of the law and good citizenship and greater public participation in the prevention and solution of crime, in particular in relation to counterfeiting and consumer protection. To provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances with the object of improving their conditions of life.
