The charitable purposes of the Company are the promotion of religion, education, the relief of poverty and sickness, the advancement of health and the relief of those in need primarily directed at the elderly in Glasgow: 2.1 By operating and maintaining St Francis Care Home, Merryland Street, Govan and any replacement thereof and any other similar facility as a care home for the elderly and infirm.
