02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The Melting Pot is Scotland’s Centre for Social Innovation. An inspiring community of people striving to make the world a better place. We work across three business strands to support and stimulate social innovation in Scotland: A place to meet, work and collaborate. Flexible, creative and budget-friendly solutions for today’s dynamic world of work. Offering a warm and inviting workspace away from home, whilst our meeting rooms provide a convenient venue for upcoming events. Good Ideas, our incubator programme equips budding social entrepreneurs with the knowledge, skills and networks to turn ideas into positive, impactful ventures. Through our Consultancy service, we match businesses to trusted consultants within our network. Together, we co-design solutions for people, place & productivity. We also create inspiring events to educate, connect and inspire.
