02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The Scout Group is part of the Scout Association and all group members are automatically members of the Scout Association. We change lives by offering 66-25 year olds fun and challenging activities, unique experiences, everyday adventure and the chance to help others so that we make a positive impact on communities. Weekly sessions are run by trained volunteers at a local Church Hall, predominately through school term time. There are also various group events, sectional camp and activity evenings/days/weekends which provide a great variety of options for members.
